In response to the question "Is it entertaining" I would say about as entertaining as paint can get. I have used Mr. Surfacer on plastic models for years. This is the first time I used it on a wooden model and the results were excellent.

Does exactly what it should. Can thin it way out and spray it as a straight primer or thin it a little and fill surface imperfections. Take it right out of the jar and fill small dings then sand it away. Spread it on thin and clean off excess with Lacquer thinner. I also use the 1500 thinned 50/50 and swear it is THE BEST primer for metal models. Super versatile stuff.
