I have been using this barcode scanner Motorola Symbol DS6878 with Cradle Wireless-2D Barcode Scanner for a week now and it is better than I had imagined it would be. One it doesn't come with a power cord and it will only charge on a computer so you might want to get one with a power cord or get a power cord because at least this one that I am using would not just power up to a USB jack charger and it needed to be charged when first got for 24 hours. So I had to leave my computer on for 24 hours I didn't like that, but all else aside that is the only down side. It is way better than trying to buy the cheaper 1D barcode scanners with Bluetooth they work good for clean sharp barcodes and that is all. I know because I bought one a year ago. Just pay the extra money and get the Motorola. This one you connect one time when the computer starts up then it is connected just scan codes 20 min. an hour it is still connected as long as you don't put the computer to sleep. It will reconnect once the computer starts back up. The scanner I got you had to connect it every 5 mins. once the power on the scanner shut off. Then half the time it didn't want to reconnect to the Bluetooth. I had to shut the Bluetooth off on the computer settings then back on just for it to reconnect. It gets real bothersome after a while. The Motorola scanner also will scan codes that are faded, broken, hard to read in general. I use it for older items meaning 20 or 30 years old stuff and most of the codes are bad, faded not scannable. The other scanner would not scan any of these, but this Motorola one will. I am so glad I found this one I will not buy the cheaper ones anymore I need it to work quick and efficient. So Thanks Breckline this scanner is awesome!!!!!!! Also, just a tip the speaker is pretty load when it connects I guess it is for warehouse noise reasons. I don't think you can adjust it but if you put some duct tape on the speaker it will cut the volume in half making the beeps a little more bearable. This one does connect to Windows 10 you have to ask them how, but it is not to complicated.Read full review

While trying to save a dollar during these uncertain times, it is nice to know there is a lower cist alternative to these scanners. I have used these scanners for years, and they are very expensive. I have bought from this company before and the fact that these scanners are used does not affect the quality. Plus, they send them to you operating at top quality. Thanks

if you are having trouble reading barcodes with your el-cheapo bargain scanner, this will fix your woes. It's built like a tank (search youtube for the video where they run over it with a car, throw it against a wall, etc.). Most importantly, I can now breeze through my inventory without having to stop constantly to rescan barcodes - or in some cases type them in manually!

These are priced the same as the cheap junk scanners from China, but work waaay better. We've gone through a ton of those that have constant problems, but these took 2 seconds to setup and scan any kind of barcode we throw at it quickly and accurately.

Own a UPS Store and have 3 of these. They work great and really help check in all the Amazon returns we process.
