We used Motorola two-way radios for the first time for a long distance convoy. For convenience for the drivers, we also used the Motorola hand held mikes. The longest distance we transmitted was over a mile and the radios boomed in loud and clear. The mikes have their own speakers and the radios were well out of the way. The mikes made these radios ever so convenient to use. Two-way radios with this mike have cell phones beat hands down for this type of use.

The Motorola Commander speaker mic gives great sound and reception. No problems attaching to my radio. Works perfectly. I like this speaker mic better than the Commander II with channel selector
