Bought mine used off of Ebay. So far so good. I love this phone compared to my old LG Revolution. The camera is fast and takes great pictures. The battery seems to be just like any other smartphone. It lasts according to the apps that are running and what you are using the phone for. The phone is crazy light and sometimes I feel like I could easily drop it due to its size and weight.(hoping the Corning and Kevlar are as tough as they claim to be)I'm not a super big technology nerd. I listen to music, surf the web, take pics, make calls and send texts. So overall the phone does exactly what I need it to do smoothly and quickly. I will gripe about the sound quality... seems a bit cheap for such a nice phone.
Does everything I expected of it; operating system and use/control of the phone is NOT "intuitive" as so often promoted on such phones. Cannot get much help from the Geeks at the store; they seem to be able to do a lot with it, but don’t have the time to SHOW me how to work with it. The manual is useless & the HELP video/tutorial is only slightly better than the store Geeks (go here, press that, & select); still looking for something to provide me that basis/design/intent of this phone. Battery life is poor at best; cannot make it one day (daytime only) if you use it much at all. One the plus side, the features I bought it for (Camera & ability to work with photos taken and received, even embedded shots, is great). The TXT keyboard is small (even given this large screen format and the ability to turn it sideways); perhaps my targeting is poor, but I get a LOT of fat-fingered entries (suggest getting a stylus). Once a mistake is made or recognized, it is tricky to get the editor to do what you want (same issue as how the mistake was made in the first place). Overall, I think the phone is fine (other than the battery issue); but getting support for how to use it is dramatically lacking.Read full review
I bought this phone used for my girlfriend. I have the samsung galaxy nexus. The Razr is of course very thin and for me a bit too thin. However, after putting a case on it its perfect and feels comfortable in the hand. Build quality feels very good. Screen looks great.Volume reaches much higher than my samsung. Camera performs better in low light than my galaxy nexus. Phone feels very responsive and fluid. Battery easily last a day with normal use. If you a power user then you will likely need to charge before calling it a day.The one thing I noticed Is I really like the haptic feedback. It leaves you feeling very satisfied after each click but not strong enough to annoy you like my samsung and old Motorola Droid 2. Phone just got updated to Android 4.04 and first impressions is very nice. ORead full review
I bought this phone because I have used Motorila products aince my first cell phone in 1996. They are reliable and have always provided the features that I wanted. This phone is great and I am just as pleased with it as I have been with Motorola. I do wish the battery would last longer but since I got the car dock it is very easy to charge the phone while still using it with mt Bluetooth headset. I would definitely purchase this phone again.
I absolutely LOVE this phone. It's slim, good looking, and fast. The difference between 3G and 4G speeds is outstanding. The 1.2ghz dual core processor makes this phone quick, and all motions are smooth. The rear facing camera takes great pictures and the 1080p HD videos look great. The display is exceptional; definitely a huge step up from my old Droid 2 Global. Battery life isn't that great, but the built in Smart Actions app gives you some options that can help extend the battery life. With the recent release of Ice Cream Sandwich for the Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX, I only expect this experience to get better.
