I purchased the magenta Motorola Razr V3 and I love the look and feel. It is a good size. Large keypad with great features. But I have a couple of complaints and they are biggies for me. #1) I am unable to see the screen if I am outside. Just glare. #2) (and this is the deal breaker for me) I didn't realize when I purchased it that I wasn't asking the right questions. Yes it has a camera, yes it supports mp3 files, but is lacking in memory. I Installed the motorola phone tools and was only able to transfer 2 songs and between that and the few pictures I have taken it seems that I am nearly out of memory. It didn't occur to me that 5 mb of memory wouldn't be enough. So either my product is defective, or I am out of memory because 5mb is not enough. Regardless, dissapointed because I love the phone, but I'll be returning it and trying either the Motorola W490 (5mb memory + a removable memory card with an additional 2 gig memory) or the MotoRazr V3i which also takes a memory card. So I guess it depends on your needs whether this phone will work for you. Good luck!Read full review
I have had two Razrs for about 2 months. The camera quality is excellent and the pictures are essy to send to email or photo drop box. The phones are not durable though. One of the phones is now only usable to talk on. It was dropped (about 11 inches) to the carpeted floor and bounced once. This damaged the LCD in the phone so now the inside face of the phone is unreadable. The service areas for this phone are also different than for other phones from the same provider. I have a total of 3 cell phones and have to use one that is 6 years old at times because the Razr doesn't pick up both analog and digital towers. I am still very impressed with the camera aspect though.
The Motorola RAZR V3t is the V3 series made for the T Mobile customers. I was very happy with the extra features that the V3T has updated compared to the original RAZR. For instance 3 specific features stand out, a slot to add extra memory (with a Micro SD Card), a music player with ITunes compatibility, and an upgraded digital camera. The clamshell looks better than ever and has the coolest looking blue LED Light to alert you to phone calls. The super thin clamshell design does not disappoint and the two display screens (one internal, the other external) worked well for the most part. However, there were some issues in bright or sunlight conditions. The flat keypad design is ultra cool and I had no problems when texting or inputting new numbers into my phone book. One great improvement on the RAZR V3t is the digital camera. It now comes with a mega pixel camera that takes very nice pictures, however I did have an issue if I moved the camera slightly while taking pictures, the picture came out blurry. The MP3 player also works well and I now use it for my primary music player. But ITunes was difficult to use and does require some tweaking. As for the memory slot, this is one of the most practical features for the V3t. You can easily expand the memory with a Micro SD Card. These cards even come with adapters so that you instantly swap them with standard SD Cards. I was able to load up the MP3 player with my favorite tunes and change the music daily with this easy feature. However, you can also use the other technologies on board as well. A few things I didn't like were that the other person wasn't able to hear me when I used the speakerphone and I was unimpressed by the speakerphone's volume. Again ITunes is not easy to work with, especially when making ring tones and the display wasn't bright enough in certain settings. Pros •Great looking Package •MP3 player •Slot for Micro SD Card •High quality camera with mega pixel resolution •Easy to use interface •Fits nicely in the palm of your hand Cons •ITunes a pain to work with •Speakerphone not clear and needs more volume •Display can be brighter in certain light conditions Overall The RAZR V3t is a super sleek phone that has lots of bells and whistles.Read full review
I have recently been a Bla*kberry user, but after I saw this Razor I missed the old days when I had one. This newer version is great, I love the phone it is so user friendly in my opinion. It has all i need: Texting, camera, internet access, access to bluetooth and also ability to get ringtones that are cool. I give this phone a double thumbs up, if you're thinking of getting, Like Nike says: Just Do It!
Pros: It is a Quad Band phone and can be used in Germany, This is what I bought the phone for. I bought the Phone fairly cheaply. Cons: The phone seems to be very cheaply made. Very thin metal and plastic. The Battery Door is a slightly different color than the rest of the phone. The clock display on the front panel dosen't stay lit up, You have to open the Lid to see the Time. Extra Memory Can not be added to this Model of Phone. Most of the photos taken from a digital camera are to large to Import into this Phone. I can;t put any MP3S from my Computer on the phone because it dosen't have enough memory. The Phone I bought was supposed to be Slightly Used but I got a Refurbised Phone, The listing said nothing about the Phone being Refurbished.
