Mosiac of Thought seeks to unravel the complexities of reading comprehension for struggling readers. Any educator who wants to guide students through this complex maze must read this book. It is not a quick read and requires time to think about what the authors have discovered about the human brain and understanding. As an educational therapist, I've found "Mosiac" to be one of the most well-written and comprehensive books on the subject. However, be prepared to read it in short chunks in order to fully digest the information.
I had to buy this book as part of required reading for a elementary education college course. The book does provide a great base on information for reading strategies but is a little dull to read. However I'm definitely keeping it as a resource in the future.
