It's a small and attractive spice mill for very small jobs --- which is generally what you need a spice mill for in your kitchen, on a day-to-day basis. It is not for big spice-grinding projects or bulk work of any kind. Its capacity is mini. And some things might have to be ground twice (I found my fennel seeds needed a second run-through.) For a pinch-of-this and a pinch-of-that, this is a nice product and worth the price.

I love the look of the grinder. The handle turns well and is easy to use. The issue I had with it was I wanted to use it for two different spices but found that once you put pepper in to grind you cant get it out. So no possibility to reuse for cinnamon next time. There's not way to fully open the grinder to clean. I guess it's cheap enough to buy one for each spice.

This item is definitely a salt/pepper grinder. Not a coffee grinder, which is the reason for my purchase (coffee). I can barely squeeze a coffee bean in! Lol! Nice little grinder, just don’t buy it and think you’ll grind coffee efficiently. 3” barely makes it an adult size apparatus.

This is easy to load but then there is no way to empty. I thought the top would come off but so far, short of breaking it, it hasn't. Nothing more comes out when I grind so I'm guessing it's empty. Does a very good job of grinding what is put in but no way to check if all got ground up. Makes an attractive and interesting knick-knack.

It is a little difficult to grind but I am hoping that it just needs use because the pepper is perfectly ground
