I have used the mio for 4 years now. There are only minor flaws, such as do not let the battery die. The expansion slot makes the device have limitless memory. The GPS built in, is actually quite accurate. The touch screen makes selecting a POI on the road a breeze with the large select buttons. Also, the live feature makes tracking the device simple. With the addition of the external antenna, windshield mount, and DC adapter you can go anywhere. As long as you do not let the battery die, there is no trouble from the device. I suggest everything stored on it (including GPS program) be loaded onto the provided SD card. This makes recovery simple. Also, keep the unit backed up. Then if the battery dies, you just need to only restore from backup.
I enjoy the GPS segment but I love the calendar feature which reminds me of appointments. I really like the MS Word which allows me to either write memos by hand or type them out and then save them. Although this unit is no longer manufactured...it serves me very well.
