While playing, it does have a slight problem with some notes SOUNDING like they're being carried too long (or... forever) but the glitch doesn't seem to be reflected in the recorded midi data, so it's good enough for me (then again, I don't write music for a living). Also, the glitch may have something to do with the fact that my electric piano is from the age of the floppy disk.

It worked for the first day, but then after that it started glitching. When I turn on the keyboard two notes play and hold forever, and when I press the foot pedal it plays a note. What the heck? I replaced it with a different cable and it works fine, so this must be a faulty cable. Shipping time was good, however.

I bought this for my Yamaha PRS 260 keyboard. I took a chance considering that every site I looked at was telling me that I had to buy Yamaha's proprietary cables that cost nearly $50. As soon as I plugged it in my computer installed the drivers and I was able to map the keyboard in Ableton Live 9. I have been using it for nearly a week and I have had no issues with latency or anything else for that matter. Best money I ever spent for this old keyboard.

I used it for my Yamaha keyboard to plug into my Windows 10 laptop and it was detected right away. Didn't need to install any drivers, as they were automatically installed. Ableton 9 now detects my keyboard as a Midi Keyboard. I highly recommend it.

works great! just remember the IN on the cable goes to the OUT on the Keyboard and OUT on the Cable goes to the IN on the Keyboard. don't line up IN with IN and OUT with OUT. it won't work. I've seen lots of people make that mistake and get no sound.
