For the price it does a fine job. I have had a number of connectors that were not tight enough, but I probably use it somewhere around 80 times a day Monday- Friday. The yellow fitting starts to close the crimping hole by the time you get past the first tooth on the ratchet, so you need to hold the wire, the connector, and the pliers all in position while crimping. The blue and the red sizes though, you can put in the crimper and just hold the pliers and wire to start your crimp. It is a little tricky to start the crimp one handed unless you have big hands.
