I bought one for a gift and sorta wanted one more for display than to use.... Put it next to the model guitars and sorta forget about it well, being a geek I put a battery (Included and sealed in clear cellophane I could not see so like a boobe I put another battery in figuring I got a DOA one- nope just sealed for reference if you buy one) I plugged it into a EMG equipped Jackson Soloist and the thing actually sounds great! Clean is clean, it's got some good punch on the distorted end and the tone control actually does offer up a lot of color in both clean and dirty.... I plugged in a set of Sennhiser RM3 recording headphones and it cranks.... It's fun, functional, not a Tom Sholtz Rockman but it looks cool in the studio (I do pull and flip the battery so it won't corrode or drain in storage) This is the PERFECT gift for a guitarist. I'm buying more for Christmas presents.... Also MUSIC123 ships 2 day UPS at no charge- Try and beat that! Best $50-ish present you are gonna give... Comes in a nice box complete with the battery, will also use any standard 9v neg center pin pedal power wart. This gets an A+ all day long.... The grille cloth is cloth, not cheap plastic, its well made, surprisingly loud and clear as noted. Definitely the perfect gift and a functional one at that..... Heck, even worth tossing in your guitar case with headphones on vacation!Read full review

Perfect for when you can't risk even turning on your 100 watt stack for fear of waking up the whole neighborhood. This little amp is loud enough to practice on and sounds great

My daughter wanted an amp to take to college, and this thing is suiting her needs perfectly. As long as you understand what this amp is designed to do you won’t be disappointed.
