"Marjorie Morningstar" looks better than ever on Blu-Ray with the 4K transfer. Images are sharp and colors are vivid, and it looks great in the original theatrical ratio. My prior copy was VHS, so this is far superior in terms of images and sound. Of course, this didn't have the benefit of a full restoration, so there are some occasional glitches with color or a lot of grain, but nothing unusual for those who are fans of films from this era. Unfortunately, the Blu-Ray is woefully lacking in bonus features. The only features are trailers for other films. It would have been nice to at least have the film's own theatrical trailer.

This is great to see for those who grew up in the era of the 1950s. Gene Kelly was miscast and there is no chemistry between him and the gorgeous Ms.Wood.Claire Trevor wonderful as always and Everett Sloan one of the greats. Best parts are Ed Wynn as Uncle Sampson he is a delight. Some nice dance numbers and songs. Nice direction by Irving Rapper.
