I bought to tone down brassy blonde hair. I turned it purple. Didn't like that. I guess you need to use a lot less. I may still play around with it. I mixed with conditioner didn't leave on to long. Came out light purple silver just on my highlighted blondes/white areas, rest of brassy hair was toned a little.
