I haven't used it yet, because I haven't needed to, but every Magpul product I have ever purchased has been excellent and worked to perfection, so I cannot imagine the Armorer's Wrench being any different. Possibly the only thing I could gripe about is I could wish the castle nut wrench was open-end so you don't have to take the stock off to use the wrench on the castle nut, but I suppose if you need to access the castle nut, then you would also already be needing to take the stock off as well. I'm giving it five stars simply because I know it's the best and the wrench is built like a tank!

Having used a number of these job-specific wrench’s I’ve experienced a range of performance levels. From adequate to complete failure. In this Magpul wrench I finally found 100% success! Even with frozen barrel nuts this wrench (and a little heat) performed perfectly. Obviously designed by folks who have ‘been there’. Like they say, “you get what you pay for”. A well designed and very high quality American made tool. Worth every ‘cent and then some. Do yourself a favor...buy the best and bemoan the cost once...buy cheap and regret it again and again. W6

This tool is very nice.it is perfect for basic ar15 rifle's. Unfortunately I have a gun I can't use any part of this tool.i got it for the asap Magpul back plate and it wouldn't fit over my phase 5 pistol buffer tube.i have a mega arms upper and that has it's own tool for the barrel nut.so I have a 80 bottle opener that has torque ratings and a badass Magpul logo.so if you have a really high-end pistol this won't work unless you have a standard barrel nut and a buffer tube that is either a rifle tube or standard diamiter pistol tube with out pistol brace stop

I have owned three tools for a similar purpose and the Magpul is by far the best tool. Solid and no flex. No rounding of the teeth used to tighten or remove the barrel nut either. This tool will last two lifetimes. In the case of the Magpul wrench, you get what you pay for.
