My bike is a thrown together cheap Chinese carbon fully rigid 29er with spare mountain bike parts on it, with an old-as-dirt non-clutch 9-speed rear derailleur with no dedicated chainguide mounting points/tabs. The chain had been dropping on training rides so I needed a cost-effective solution. Running a 38t chainring in front, so I needed this particular MRP model which allowed the use of the 38t size. Easy installation, almost foolproof. Not one chain drop during my 55-mile 7,500 foot race at the inaugural 2018 Old Growth Classic race in Big Basin.
