Why pay more for name brand?
These work great, but I knew they would. Mec Gar supplies over half of the gunmakers factory mags, just rebranded. I've got mec gars for all of my pistols, and they're all flawless.

Good product usually. This one falls a bit short.
MecGar has usually very high quality products. This magazine works, except with one detail. Its does not hold open the slide when the last cartridge case is ejected and the magazine is empty. I have had this issue with other aftermarket magazines in the past, but not previously with MecGar replacement mags before, and am a little disappointed. Not going to buy a $100. Walther mag however, just to have that feature. It may get better with time or a slight adjustment with respect to the alignment of the top of the metal where the magazine interrupts the slide.

Very good fit and function
Although I have yet to fire a cartridge from my Walther with this magazine, it locks in smoothly, feeds dummy and live rounds without a complaint. Plus I've used several brands of live ammo hollow point, full metal jacket, all fed to perfection.
