I opened the box and started putting the exhaust on to find out that they have the crimp clamps in there and not the proper u clamps. This made it very difficult because they didn’t clamp the right way so I had to go out and buy brand new clamps myself and spent another $50. Overall I love the exhaust but I can’t believe they would send those clamps with the exhaust.

the exhaust clamps do not squeeze pipe enough to hold the pipe. even with impact, hand tool, break bar. Clamps do not work. Got it as tight as possible it broke loose while driving. hangers that were sent to not work correctly. exhaust clamps with hangers attached have even less clamping force. do not work right pipe is of good quality clamps are no good looked at reviews after i had difficult install and am reading same from others

Although I bought the whole kit, I started out using the cat back pieces to see how that alone sounded. I could not believe how much the stock cat absorbed all the turbo sound. In my opinion if you are doing a cat back system, with the stock cat, it's a waste of time and money. The turbo outlet is 3.5" diameter, so going to a 5" exhaust really has no benefit in my opinion. Increasing the stock down pipe from 3" to 3.5" is already a massive gain. From there, the kit increases the 3.5" down pipe to 4" which again is another massive gain. I installed this exhaust on my back with no lift, by myself. Some installation tips: - Remove the oem exhaust in small enough sections that you don't need to remove the transmission mount. The new exhaust can be installed without removing this crossmember. I used a saw-zall with Milwaukee "The torch" blades. Don't even bother with the cheap HF blades. -Spray penetrating fluid on all the mounts and old rusty hangers. Use slip jaw pliers to remove rust from the ends of the old metal hangers. -Install the 3.5" down pipe up from the bottom. Do not clamp it to the turbo until you slide on the 4" adapter pipe. This will keep you from needing to remove the transmission crossmember. -Have someone help hold the down pipe in place as you get it mounted to the turbo. Do not fully tighten the turbo clamp until all the pipe is installed and mounted the way you want it. -Use jack stands or blocks to hold the exhaust in position as you install it. -In the state/ county I live, the cat MUST be present to pass the state inspection. It does not necessarily have to work, it just needs to be there. The stock cat has a 3.5" inlet/outlet, so unless this is modified or replaced with a 4" performance cat, any gains in the 4" pipe are negated. What I did was cut the cat delete pipe from the kit in half. I cut off the end bells of the cat to 4"and slid the delete pipe through the cat welding it with a MiG on both ends, while welding the delete pipe back together. -Ensure that 1/16" to an 1/8" of the band clamps protrude the end of the pipe connections prior to tightening. This ensures the clamps fully tighten the compression slits and seal the pipe. You don't want the pipe to leak. -Double check to ensure all the exhaust is clear of the cross members and frame prior to tightening. Overall I am extremely pleased with this exhaust. I had intended on MiG welding as much of it in place as possible, however the clamps work extremely well. In the end I decided not to weld the joints. This 4" kit really increases the awesome 6.0L V8 sound, and the turbo spools much quicker. This really is the best upgrade for the money. Read full review

Wanna wake up your 6.0 powerstroke? Look no further!!!! This thing bolted right up and on no issue. Didn’t come with instructions so that sucked. I made it work and it wasn’t too bad. Had the whole thing installed in about an hour. The larger down pipe was the hardest part. I went ahead and tack welded all the joints as well as clamped. Now I smash the gas and women throw their soaking wet panties at my truck as I drive past. Gotta love that 03 turbo sound!

Decent product for the price - a couple of sections had dents so I had to Ben them back out with a hammer, also the price that goes over the axle hits the rear shock so I had to do some modifications. After I figured it out it sounds and looks great!
