I needed something with a bit more room than my Lowepro sling bag for a recent trip to Japan. This was absolutely perfect. The backpack doubles as a camera bag and day pack. Don’t expect to fit a lot of items other than your camera equipment. In the top compartment there was enough for me to fit a small hoodie, snacks, keys, sunglasses, wallet, portable battery chargers, and other random objects needed while traveling. Additionally, I was able to fit a 13” MacBook Air in the front compartment, though it was VERY tight and I wouldn’t recommend it for anything other than smaller laptops or tablets. As for the camera compartment, I easily fit my Nikon D810 with a 24-70 attached. I also brought a 50mm lens, battery charger, cleaning gear, hard drive, and a lens filter. I suppose you could fit a third lens if you didn’t bring the other accessory items. Wearing the bag was comfortable. I wore it for many hours while walking LOTS of miles. It was easy to remove when utilizing public transit in Japan. In summary, I would highly recommend this bag for the day trekker photography hobbyist/semi-pro. It certainly won’t suffice for the professional who is on a shoot for business, but other than that, it’s perfect.Read full review
