Ive just mounted it on my carl gustav 1900 cal 30-06. That gun have a real havy recoil. On it i attached a flashligt so we will see if its stays in plays after a coppel of shots. I think its a little expensive ithem. It should be half the price tho its probebly made in china. But its easy to mount and looks to stand my test.

Well made product, but can't tighten securely to the forearm. My forearm pistol grip wiggles around and feels as it will break off the weapon. It needs some sort of gasket to take up the space/play between the forearm and the weapon. I just can't get the part to weld solidly to the forearm of my Smith and Wesson M&P AR10, 308cal. It has the round M16 style forearm.

The Lion Gears Swivel Stud Picatinny Rail adapter ASS2W03 fit a flat forearm Boyds stock swivel stud very well. It mounted tight because of the adjustable stud attachment of the Lion Gears design..

So I put this thing on and I tighten it making sure not to over tighten because this stuff is normally made of very cheap metal. I get it snug put the bipod on and as soon as you put pressure on it it came right off. I then tightened it more where the screws just keep going and it bends and cracks. So if you tighten it enough so it'll stay on it breaks. I knew when I ordered it there was a small chance of it not being garbage. Its to bad there are no other options out there.

Lots of mixed reviews about this simple little item. I think it's awesome! Installs in seconds, works like a charm, good quality, and it's small enough that I'm just going to leave it on the rifle full time. I can shoot without it interfering with my grip and if I want to attach my bipod, it slips on in 2 seconds.
