I have a 4.5 year old Lftmaster Pro garage door opener. Lately, the (down) door would reverse and the light would blink 10 times as if something was blocking the sensor eye beams. There was not. Replacing the 2 Lftmaster Sensor Eyes (41A5034) solved the problem. During and after the repair I noticed: 1) The old sending sensor's (yellow) light 'glow' seemed weak and the wiring nuts in the wiring box were loose. 2) The new sending sensor's (yellow) light 'glow' now seems much brighter than the old one replaced. So... Problem Solved... Another Happy Homeowner...

The indicator light is on the same side of the sensor as the mounting screw. If you mounting it to a standard mounting bracket you can’t see the light. You can’t mount the sensor unless you cut the metal mounting bracket. ( hopefully you will never buy a standard garage door sensor) it’s just not a good design for me.

Arrived as, and when, advertised. Only one of my sensors was bad and that's all I replaced. (Kept the other for a spare.) It attached to the original bracket fairly easy. The sensors came with plenty of wire, but I simply cut and spliced the like wires about 4 feet up from the floor. That way I didn't have get out the ladder to take down old and then new run wires all the way up to the opener. I spent $20 and likely saved myself $180 if I'd called someone.

After the dog tore the wires off my original sensor, these replacements worked great. And were easy to install once I realized one is a receiver and one is a sender, a diode on each tells which is which. Installs in less than 10 minutes. By passing this feature is not a good idea!. Earned my "Mr. Fix It" again.

I replaced the one sensor that would not light, The green one because it did not light. Did not work. Replace the other amber and worked fine. Even though the amber lit when power available. Recommend changing both sensors. Enough lead wire to connect to existing wires and easy crimp connectors. Instructions included with safety hints. /r J
