These are my favorite light bulbs. They are inexpensive; kelvin temp (4000k) is exactly what I need and the lumen output is just right for my application. I have had the bulbs installed for about 3 months with a average use of 8 hours a day; so far no complaints. The feature that makes me like these is the 4000k bulb with the high lumen. I can't find this type of bulb anywhere else for the price. I will continue to buy these bulbs for my needs!

I purchased these bulbs hoping to approximate the old style 100 watt light bulbs of days-gone-by. The bulbs looked very nice in the dining room fixtures. They were quite bright light, like you get from a 100 watt old style light bulb, but more bluish and slightly glaring. You cannot put them on a dimmer--they blink like hell. I tested all six bulbs around the house. Then all after a day or two, they started emitting a high-pitched-whine-transformer-sound that really gets to you if you are trying to study etc... Several visiting friends picked up and commented on the sound as well, saying, "what's that?" Of course, none of this is the fault of the company that sold me these bulbs... it is a fundamental design flaw of the actual manufacture. I can't recommend these bulbs if the issue of quite-ness is a consideration for students, therapists, researchers and the like, where peace and quite are essential to focusing the mind to work on something.Read full review

compared to most lumens per watt this is best one available to the public that I can find as of now. For only 12 watts... for it to light up a room of 20x20 feet room is impressive. I have one in every room. I went with the natural light for the extra brightness but some may prefer the laungy soft and a bit yellowish for their living room. my elec bill already went down by $15 in 1 month so it preety much payed it self off already.

These 100watt equivalent LED's are just the bulb I use. I think they should last 5+ years.
