Lee dies provide great value for the price. If you are a volume re-loader the more expensive dies from other manufacturers may be for you, or not. I am not sure many rounds you can reload with these dies before they wear out. I have used for other calibers for a long time and mine are all still doing fine. There are some dies that have advanced features like micrometer seating adjusters and the like. But, with patience and care, extremely accurate loads are within reach for less than half the price. They work.

This product has every die you will need to craft good and accurate ammo. I really love the mandrel neck sizer. No adjustments are needed for it, just screw it in and start neck sizing. The factory crimp is also a good die to have. It will crimp any bullet you use and as long as the cases are the same length the crimp will be pretty much the same which gives you an identical crimp on each round. Great buy & great dies. Lee makes a good product.

If you don't know machanical action or can't figure out how something works, don't buy these collet dies. The collet/decap die has to be set so the top of the ram pushes the collet sleave into the main die about 1/4 inch. This funnels the collet around the case neck and forms it to the size of the mandrel inside the neck. This happens right at the last part of the rams upper movement. No neck lube no cleaning. no resistance coming out of the die and the case fits perfect in the chamber is was formed in. I believe the case neck is also in better alignment with the bore as opposed to orher dies. If you understand how these work, you will as I do, think it's the best thing to come along for reloading ammunition ever.

I've used a lit of different brands of dies, and feel that in most applications , that Lee dies function every bit as good as the higher priced brands. I buy their dies almost exclusively now for my presses. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
