Lee dies are a good value as they are less expensive than competitors and come with the required shell holder. Lee carbide dies for pistol cartridges do not require case lubrication, although, they are not as smooth and easy as titanium dies, for example. They do sometimes have a problem when de-capping cases. It is difficult to sufficiently tighten the de capping pin and It is then necessary to hammer down the de-priming pin to eject the spent primer.

I have been switching to Lee dies for a couple of years now. They are more finely machined and of better quality and craftmanship than comparably priced dies. A better set will cost twice as much. I highly recommend them.

For the amount of reloading I do why pay more. Never had a problem with Lee reloading equipment. I think they take an good old American know how ,and apply it. Some of there stuff is simple design and always works.

Item was as described. Only had to make minor adjustments for my loading press. Resized, then reload, 100 empty brass with no problems. Nice set of dies and carbide resizing ring was clean and handled the resizing with no problems.
