I purchased this item as I shoot a lot of 45ACP,out of the box and read how to set up press..mount to bench and cut out wood to let primers fall and press to function. Set up powder to dispense with proper disk, set dies to proper depth and load primers ,powder, and brass. Start operation, and press is jerky and hard to function...unload all brass, powder and primers,,lubricate press and reinstall all reload items.. First round thru no primer and powder all over press..Remove all items and clean out powder. Start reloading and primers wont feed, remove primers and smooth out feed ramp to primer punch. Start again bullet wont seat and ruins the case, check die all looks ok. Start again, case mechasim not pushing case into rotating tray. Check operation and adjust rod, operate press primer goes sideways, remove bent primer and start again, yea one round made 45minutes . This is the hardest press I have ever used, it took me all afternoon to load 20 rounds. I can reload with my RCBS single stage loader faster .I ruined numerous cases had to stop all the time and clean up powder . I also had to constantly check my powder load as the disk was not performing it would stick or not drop enough . I am going to try and return this item. what a joke , I even bought a different caliber assembly to load 380 ACP and its not working very hard to disassemble and change out so back to 45ACP hand single stage assembly . Don't buy unless you want to spend your time cleaning , rechecking why round wont feed or bullet wont press.Read full review

This press is a good value, but it is not a press for beginners. In other words, do not make this your first press. Your first press should be a manual press with separate steps. After you have mastered that press move up to a progressive. There are too many things that will go wrong. The primer system is better than the older Lee 1000, but it still has some of the flaws in feeding primers. Getting a primer caught in the wrong spot and crushing it will cause the rest of the primers in line to explode....making for a bad day. Overall the press is sturdy and has a solid platform. This press does not have the same footprint as my previous Lee 1000's so any mounting system you have may need some adaptation. The instructions are next to useless so have YouTube ready to help with assembly. Saying all that, it is of typical Lee quality which is good. You will have to tinker with it to put out some ammo, but I think it's worth it.Read full review

Works just like it was described, even better than I thought and I have not fine tuned anything yet. Don't hesitate it is worth the money and can resize pistol brass quickly. I think I will buy another just cause it works so well and reasonably priced. Great product and I am totally happy with it!!!
