I have many Lee molds and this one was a real surprise. A bullet this large to pour out of the mold less than one grain difference in weight between the two bullets is amazing. Nice wide and deep grease grooves puts a nice star on the end of the gun barrel.

Try one Lee bullet mold in your caliber. You may like them as I do. Aluminum mold blocks which take some getting used to. They heat up quick, sometimes too hot, with bullet frosting (of the surfaces), but overall they are machined well, and when taken care of, have lasted a long time (for me.) You really need a good bullet sizing die too, so using these bullets as-cast would not be recommended.

You can pay a lot more -- but get no more -- than you will from Lee Precision Molds. Lee has done it right: with quality and fair pricing. These will be launched from a Shiloh Sharps 45/70 in the very near future! They're "some", and more -- or I wouldn't say so.

Good bullet design. Sprue plate as usual is too thin.
