I love the LP cajon bongos so I wanted to give the cajon congas a try. They're OK, but I personally had trouble getting them to sit comfortably on my lap. The included strap certainly helped to keep them from falling on the floor, but I ended up mounting them on a snare stand. Do they sound like congas? Kind of, but the cajon bongos sound more like real bongos than the cajon congas sound like real congas, if that makes sense. In the end, I don't love the heck out of them, but they're OK. They obviously take up less space than real congas, and, if your technique is better than mine, maybe you can get them to sound a bit better.

This cajón congas are exactly what I was looking for. I am going to start playing at my church's worship team and it's a relief not having to carry big drums around. It takes a bit of getting used to it. Lots of practice! Check YouTube videos of folks playing them. Quite fantastic to get almost identical conga and quinto sound from this wooden box.
