Moves air very efficiently with a powerful three-speed motor. However, at anything above low speed it roars like a WW II fighter plane in a power dive. You can't stay near it. This I suppose is the price of its being lightweight, easy to move and emplace.

It moves very little air compared to other fans, with its highest setting equivalent to low on other fans. Positive: It is very quiet and sells for a low price. It suits my very limited need but would not have done so at other times in my life. The white band around the perimeter arrived cracked with a small piece missing. That does not affect its functioning (and really isn't noticeable). If you want a quiet fan to move a little air, this will do it.

Moves plenty of air even on low and is very sturdy. Very quiet for a box fan. Yes you can hear it but it is a nice white noise that helps me sleep.

Bought Lasko before. One in my room still running from a long time ago. Got another to beat the heat hopefully.

It is not very quiet but they all are the same . Relatively quiet. Even at the lowest setting you hear it but no big deal. It also has attachable legs so it does not fall back at the high setting. But since I use it at the lowest it does not need the legs. For the price it is worth it.
