Great disc and selection of Stones tunes in their prime, and Mick Taylor is on it..... BUT, the mastering of the sound could be better. The guy that did the sound did a bit of a less than stellar job turning the tapes into a digital disc. The disc sound is HIGHLY COMPRESSED, and not nearly as good in sound quality as the Stones "From the Vault" series. I still highly recommend it, but it has sound quality more like a decent soundboard bootleg. Bottom line= Stones fans will love it, but audiophiles will be a bit disappointed.

I agree with the audiophiles who say the sound is compressed. However the bass and kick drum are predominant. Being a drummer I do like bass but Bill Wyman’s tone was always a little muddy. I have not pushed the volume up yet but assume that the sound compression will be a problem. I still recommend it because it’s better than my bootleg versions. However the sound mix could have been better.

Overall, I like this CD. It should have been included with the DVD of the same name, like the Stones have done with other live releases. The sound is not as good as other CDs from the Mick Taylor era, but still better than the bootlegs I have from the same tour.
