This is a very reasonable phone. I bought it because of my preference for a physical keyboard and because I'm not willing to pay $700 for a brand-new Blackberry Priv. My old phone, the HTC MyTouch 4G Slide, had become antique by the time the Android system froze up. I have now spent a few days with the LG Optimus F3Q. I am satisfied for what I got for $90. The phone is fast, the software is almost up to date, I could download the apps I need without difficulty, and my contacts and galleries transferred easily from my old SD card. The phone feels and looks a little cheap ... but that is because it actually is cheap. So, you get what you pay for. It does not give me the impression of not being solid or breaking any time soon. The full keyboard is large and very handy. Unfortunately, the back-lighting goes out much too fast, almost the second when one stops typing. This makes typing in poor lighting conditions a bit uncomfortable. Also, the device is loaded with T-Mobile apps that can't be deleted. Aaaargh!!! Overall, though, this is a phone that I would be willing to recommend.Read full review

I bought this phone for a replacement of the exact same one. One day, the other phone would not boot to the home screen. It was stuck in boot loop mode. After extensive attempts to revive the phone through a data recovery specialist and calls to both T-Mobile and LG, I was informed that this is not something all of technology can surpass. Therefore, all of my over 150 contacts and their pertinent notes along with all of my labor intensive memos in the Memo pad are no longer recoverable. I still did not do a factory refresh because that would permanently erase everything stored in the phone and I am hoping some day LG will develop a way to surpass the boot looping so that I may retrieve all of my data. I know about outside storage methods and I was doing that prior to upgrading my SIM card which T-Mobile kept warning me to do. I was hesitant because I didn't want to lose my data. After 2 weeks, I decided that continuing the process of duplicating my data was tedious and called the store. They informed me that my data would not be lost. After updating my SIM card, there weren't any issues until about another 2 weeks when it started boot-looping. +The 3 questions prior to this review are not indicative of this phone entirely because it did not come with a battery and I have no idea what the third question is asking. + I love the keyboard and am disappointed that LG no longer makes them. They are known for hardware issues as of late, so, I am crossing my fingers with this one and now I am WRITING EVERYTHING ON PAPER before entering it into my phone. I had been doing that when I had upgraded to this phone, but, stopped when I ran into issues in my life that distracted me from it. I am under a lot of stress and to have my phone lose it's capabilities is just adding more pressure to my life. I am hoping and praying that I won't need what I've lost and that if I do, that I will be able to find that information again, somehow. + And be careful what you download to this because it has so many apps locked into it that there is very little room for anything else! I have found that LG will not unlock them, either, probably due to contractual reasons with T-Mobile. + I like it's size. My life doesn't allow me to carry 7" screens around and I wouldn't want that responsibility, anyway. Even as important as it may sound, I do not live inside my phone all hours of the day and night. This seller sold me a perfectly good working phone. It's now up to me to remember the lessons I've learned in order to keep from losing my data and space on it.Read full review

Phone is from 2014. So it is a newish phone with a qwerty keyboard. May not have been a big seller with t-mobile. There are only 2 cases that i can find that fit it. If you like the latest and greatest apps you may have some issues as the internal ram is 1.25G. You can switch programs to the SD card, but all native app (droid and google) have to stay on the internal ram. It works fine for me. I decided to roll back some appas to save space if I want some special apps. Photos seem to snap quickly.

This is the ONLY 4gLTE slider available (that I know of) that operates on a GSM network. It suits my needs quite well. The only feature that it doesn't have that I wish it did is MHL/HDMI (Mobile High-Definition Link) but all the same it is still an outstanding device which MUST be unlocked if you are going to use it with any carrier other than T-Mobile.

My only complaint is the low storage space for apps. Although some can be stored in the SD card, most cannot and that limits the amount and quality of installed apps. If not by that, would be a perfect keyboard phone.
