Released in 1983, the Tomahawk is the last electric powered version of the Kyosho Circuit 1000 Series cars. Based on the same twin rail chassis as the original and much loved classic Scorpion, but upgraded with a working gear differential, a radio deck with a laterally mounted battery configuration and larger tyres. It is also the only chassis with the trademark finned gearbox cover resistor mount. Very appealing and sort after by collectors, but also very ellusive due to its lexan body which is often in poor condition or destroyed if you are lucky enough to find one. I would rate the Tomahawk equal in performance to the Turbo Scorpion but more appealing purely due to them being harder to find and genuine Kyosho replacement parts, specially the body and driver figure, roof mounted spotlights, twin exhaust and mirror, near impossible to find. Overall, not comparable to modern day radio control model cars in performance but 10 out of 10 for nostalgia, appreciation like that of art and most definitely an investment for those who understand.Read full review

I purchase this Kyosho Tomahawk because I’m a collector and the price was right. I always interested in Kyosho Circuit 1000 cars, parts and hop-up parts if the price is right. The only exception if it’s a rear part then I’m prepared to pay/bet what it takes.
