Phone is perfect for people that is hard on phones. Very rugged, push to talk is great, built in LED flashlight is super bright, buttons are just big enough not to be mashing others beside it like other phones with small buttons. Screen is small but adequate, to place phone in speaker mode is grrreat, can hear the conversation clearly. I would of given it 5's across the board but the only thing I dont like is how thick it is but that has to do with the battery which probably is the best thing about the phone, battery life is unreal, you can put a full charge on it and not have to plug it in again until 6 or 7 days later with normal use. Highly recommend this phone for people that need a rugged phone.
I made a deliberate decision to quit using a smart phone. I wanted a phone that was as "dumb as possible" without being obsolete. I specifically selected this phone because it does not have a camera. While it does have a circa 2011 data functionality it is for all practical purposes broken. Here's why this is awesome. This phone gets amazing battery life. I charge it every few days, and it still only looses a fraction of its charge. I can take it anywhere. Because it doesn't have a phone, I can take it someplace where smartphones are not allowed, like a courthouse, or a secure installation. Most importantly, I don't spent time staring at this phone like a complete fool. It doesn't have any apps or games or facebook or any of that crap. I can't listen to music on it. I don't even think about it, unless it rings. And I have it set to RING. It doesn't make a dance beat, or repeat a quote from a movie, or make an animal sound. I feel like I am finally leaving the cloud of the past several years of smart phone addiction!Read full review

Might be the best non-smartphone phone I've used. Battery life seems to go weeks. Very comfortable to use, but also quite large for a mobile phone. Really my only complaint is that the earpiece could have louder volume. Also if it played radio/mp3's it would've been nice, but not really what I bought the phone for anyway.

This is an AWESOME phone. Sound quality is Superb, navigation is quick and easy, and it's a great phone to text with, due to the large buttons, you won't experience the annoyance of the wrong character being hit, like what always happens on touch screen, of Androids/I phones, or the tiny qwerty keypads of Blackberry and their clones. the only drawback I can see of this phone is Web Surfing, you can still do it, but the screen is a bit small, and memory is limited. But then again, I have a very modest PC at home that BLOWS AWAY ANY cell phone when it comes to "Screen Size, and Memory". Another thing to consider is that if you "physically drop" your $500 plus Android/I Phone, YOUR DONE, because your FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR PIECE OF PLASTIC made in a CHINESE SWEAT SHOP will SHATTER. You can hire a Rugby or Football punter to kick a goal with this phone, and it would easily survive. I dig this phone so much that I authored a website as a "Start Page" for the browser of the DuraPlus, entitled "Dura Portal Plus", at; http://3cpo.brinkster.net/a.htm Just my [2] cents http://www.chuckglisson.comRead full review
I spend a lot of time outdoors and often at considerable height in trees. This phone has vastly exceeded my expectations in ruggedness. The battery door has a screw lock so you can drop this phone and it will all stay in one piece. It is waterproof for up to a meter so it will shed rain and survive puddles easily. It is remarkably good at maintaining connections in remote areas where network coverage is spotty. In addition, this phone accurately keeps the time and date locally, even when I am away from network contact for days at a time. You need never miss an important reminder again. The battery life is simply incredible! My first charge lasted into the 12th day before I was compelled to recharge it. Even with moderate to heavy use I have not had a charge last less than 8 to 9 days. If you are a hiker, camper, surveyor, logger, rigger, lineman, or anyone who lives/works/plays outdoors and needs a reliable cell connection, buy this phone!Read full review
