I have purchased several of these in the past and have been happy, especially for the price. The only bad thing about these is the plastic bracket which holds the earphones on each side will eventually break. For the price, still worth it.

The sound quality is good as long as the volume is up (at low volume, the right channel is very weak). What keeps this from a four star rating is the volume slider; it's scratchey at times and does not slide that easy. Other than that; they are a good value for the money.

Received these headphones, and was very impressed with them overall. But then I started noticing small black flakes showing up on my neck and desk. And looking closer, the top layer of ear cup pads is already starting to flake off, and the foam underneath is starting to disintegrate. I used to swear by Koss 'back in the day'. But these are just junk quality. Too bad, since they are comfy and sound great.

I use my PC a lot at the public library, so i wanted some headphones where i could crank up the volume, yet not bother surrounding patrons. These fit the bill perfectly. Please note these headphones are OVER the ear, NOT on the ear! Thus they make a superior noise-canceling sound shield. They also fold up nicely for very convenient portable carry. There is also an inline volume control, very handy for fast volume control, without having to fumble for mouse/keyboard controls. And finally, the sound quality is truly symphonic/stereophonic superb! Combined with a graphic equalizer, and you got some great sound headphones!
Ear cups can not swivel, so they can not completely seal over ears. It only slightly decreases the bass sound, nothing major. The back side is closed and blocks out some background noise. The cord is plenty long. 100 ohm impedance drivers. These can play very loud or very powerful bass IF you use a headphone amp. Sound stage is more open and spacious than small headphones are. Overall sound and clarity is good, not perfect. Bass is there, but you need equalizer to hear it properly. Boost it at 40hz or 30hz about 10db or 15db volume. With no equalizer, bass plays smooth down to 60hz. Below that it loses volume power, you can't hear it at 50hz 40hz 30hz 20hz. WITH an equalizer for the bass, it plays okay as low as 40hz, but below that its just sputtering, no smooth sounding bass below 40hz 30hz 20hz 10hz.Read full review
