This is my 4'th Kronos keyboard. It is the deepest of all it's competitors and has the best sounds, best effects, and, most importantly, the best user interface of any keyboard. The touchscreen is large and bright enough to use on a gig at the darkest bar imaginable and all the controls are backlit. The navigation is intuitive and allows you immediate access to thousands of programs (single sound) and combinations (layers of sounds) It comes in a 61 note semi weighted key, 73 and 88 fully weighted piano key version. The sounds are the best and most realistic of all the workstations. They can all be infinitely tweaked to your liking and then stored. In the latest 3.1.2 OS version Korg developed a quick split/quick layer function that finally makes it a dream tool for working musicians; with one push of a button on the screen you can easily layer or split anything, adjust the octaves, individual volumes, change patches. Keyboard magazine and Sound on Sound have very good, in depth reviews of the Kronos 2 series keyboards. I don't have the hours it would take to guide you through this remarkable instrument, please visit these websites and go over their reviews. Final note; if you need a keyboard that does everything (the organ emulation is heroic but, like most workstation organ programs, it isn't the real deal but is good enough to use on stage) this is the one. There is nothing on the market with this capability. I'm a professional keyboard player and have been gigging for 40 years, all styles, and I've never had an instrument of this capability of quality. I just purchased this a couple weeks ago and have yet to get really in the nuts and bolts. But it comes pre-programmed with a lot of sounds of our use a lot of 80s and 90s keyboard sounds already programmed in. Also you can go online and there are a lot of free sounds for the Korg Krono's. If you're only able to get one keyboard in the next for five years I highly recommend this one.

was a motif guy for years...borrowed a friend's Kronos for the week...sold my motif and bought me a Kronos😁😁..I play alot of live sessions which require power and reliability from the board I'm using..I have used the Kronos for about 3 months now and it's bin amazing..needs a little getting used to but once you know it it's a breeze..and they are a bunch of free sounds to add to your collection

I've played a lot of keyboards. Kronos 2 is by far the most versatile and live gig - friendly instrument on the market right now. Patches switch without drops, set lists allow for easy organizing of concert patches. Sounds are REALLY good, including acoustic piano sounds, which Korg hasn't been good at in the past.

I've been playing Korgs for 15 years. I own 3 Yamaha keyboards, had an Ensoniq, Alesis, etc. I always debate the necessity of spending thousands of dollars on any board, but this was a great decision. The board is basically a mobile DAW with great starting sounds. Everything a person needs to create and shape sounds is contained in this board...it has very few limitations. The only thing I think it could benefit carrying is a monitor send for a larger screen in the studio. Cool Keyboard!
