Search on YouTube for a run-time drill shootout between Kobalt, Dewalt and another major brand and see how Kobalt beat them all. My latest is the 24V brushless and it came with a torque handle due to its strength. My other Kobalt is an 18V that the chuck itself finally failed. I purchased a new chuck and it still keeps on running.

Only used it once so far but it’s a huge upgrade from my 10 year old Craftsman which finally burnt up after many times of over working the motor. This Kobalt feels heavy duty, and I love the light, it stays on after you click the trigger so you can see what you’re doing. Has adjustable speed and torque which is nice. Time will tell but so far I’m loving this drill.

Powerful drill. I last used a 7.2v so this is a big difference. It has a light that actually lights up the area that the drill is working on. Seems to be well built.
