It's a very heavy duty material I tried to bend a blade and I couldn't. There wasn't any instructions but it was self explanatory once you removed the old one. It took me 10 to put it in and it makes my Heritage ii Turbo run like it's brand new. It's very quiet and the suction is still better than any vacuum I've used. I highly recommend this part to anyone in search of one.

The handle and the back cover have to come off to get at one of the housing screws to get the front of the vac open so the fan is accessible. Never hurts to take a phone pic or three on the way in so you'll know how it goes back together. I busted off the remains of the old blade to get at the shaft, held it with channel locks to remove the nut/belt pulley. Did some fiddling with the two speed switch, lever and push rod got it back to two speed operation. I suspect it hasn't done that for quite a while. Careful with that 2 speed switch housing in the back, it's fragile and switch is expensive...

This impeller works good. However, the center hole in it that the shaft goes through was too small for the shaft. I had to drill it out to make the center hole big enough for the shaft to fit through it. Other than that it is working great. It now sounds like a jet engine when the vacuum is running, ear protection is a must.

This impeller was easy to replace and fit perfectly. I could really notice a performance improvement.
