This guide is very complete. At a solid 442 pages it is filled with pictures, maps, tables, etc. Any everything is narrated in a fun, enjoyable style by the author, Peter Spear. As this was written at the height of this 'Golden Age' of computer adventure animation, his passionate style does go quite overwhelmingly beyond that of today's fan. But you can trust in that reading this book leaves no important fact uncovered. Includes a milleau of inside knowledge and background for King's Quest games I-VI that nicely reveals Roberta Williams' true inspirations used in designing these classics. An excellent 'companion' guide for all those who find their imagination wandering (aimlessly?) through the sometimes dauntingly complex worlds of Daventry and beyond. NO READER will turn away from this book without something learned or hint found. Terrific for all King's Quest adventurers from novice to advanced. Good luck!!!Read full review
