Seems like a solid product. Only time will tell if it lasts. All of the King Kutter and replacement spindles seem to suffer from the same issue...the c-clips fail over time. However, this is the first time that I've ordered these specific spindles from this seller. While the pulley size difference has been mentioned, I have not seen anyone mention the difference in the size/taper of the shape or the size of the key/key way. These are different from the original and replacement spindles that I've used in the past, and I've used a lot of them over the past 14 years. The original pulleys had relief areas, which were useful when trying to loosen/tighten the top nut or blade bolt, as a bar could be placed in these slots to keep the pulley from rotating. These pulleys do not have those relief areas. While not the end of the world, these pulleys are not as easy to work with. See the included photos, and note that your current pulleys may not fit. Nonetheless, you can use the included pulley. Still a great value, assuming they last.Read full review

Shipping was quick! The pulley on this assembly could not be used as it rubbed the bolt heads that the body was fastened to the mower with. The pulley is thicker on the bottom and that is why it rubbed. It must have not been machined down to the original specs. There is very little clearance on these pulleys between the mounting bolts and the bottom of the pulley. I had to re-use the old pulley on my old bearing assembly to make this work. The nut that holds the pulley onto the shaft is also bigger than the original and I had to re-use that as well. The picture as advertised shows the correct sized nut but that is not what came with this assembly. The lock washer that holds the blade on is also not of good quality. The part worked but I will be rebuilding my old assembly before I buy a complete one next time. I bought this because I needed a quick fix. Read full review

The spindle was an exact fit. The only difference was that the pulley on the spindle was smaller than the original. I had no trouble putting the old pulley on to the new spindle so all pulleys would be the same size. I have an older model King Kutter that apparently has larger pulleys than the newer models have. I do recommend this spindle. Just check the size of the pulleys because it my affect the belt length.

Seems well made easy to install like the fact that it is rebuildable . I have even used a pulley from this assembly on another brand deck .fit perfectly . Great value for the price .

Bought 2 of these spindles for my RM-60 mowing deck. Appear to be of good initial quality. Everything fitted up nicely to the deck. I had to change the smaller pulley (supplied with the new spindle) out and use my old one for my application. The pulley is a keyed, taper fit to the spindle shaft so my old pulley fit up nicely to the shaft. Also found the mounting bolts supplied to be a softer, standard grade and not a higher grade like I removed. Be careful, you can over grease them and push the upper seal (just under the drive pulley) out of it's seat. Worked the deck for a short while after installation and all seemed fine. Time will tell on the durability of the spindle, shaft and bearing system.
