The PTA3 with standard 6-round magazine is the lightest, smallest 380 with decent accuracy and solid reliability. It virtually disappears even in cargo shorts pocket. The addition of the factory extended magazine makes for a larger, but equally easily concealable gun with 50% more firepower. Filled with CorBon or other equally potent +p and you have a formidable little escape valve. The extra length makes for far better shooting ergonomics, with an extra two finger now able to hold this firecracker, accuracy was significantly enhanced--at 20 feet a full magazine went into an 8-inch circle in semi-rapid fire. Plenty good enough for my needs, and about 33% better than I can do with the short standard magazine installed. Function was flawless with both FMJ and HP, including +p, and the factory design looks like the OEM piece it is. My only quibble is aesthetic--there's a bigger gap than I'd prefer between bottom of gun and fit of magazine. It's nowhere near flush fit, but the gap doesn't affect performance, doesn't pinch or bite, and lockup is rock solid--release is factory slick, too. I hadn't thought to look for an extended mag in years, and was delighted to discover Kel-Tec now has it available. A superb addition to the perfect pocket pistol. Now I have the option of ultimate concealment, even in dress slacks, using the original mag, or just a fraction less concealability but with 9 rounds on deck.Read full review

I love that I can carry 9+1. The extra handle fits my hand and allows me to better grip the gun. Plus, it's still small enough to fit into my DeSantix pocket holster On the negative side, you'd think Kel-Tec, as the original manufacturer, would be able to make the 9 round magazine fit better. The 9 round magazine is similar in loose fit to a loose 1 round magazine extension that I purchased a few years ago. Also, there are a couple of seemingly sharp plastic edges on the 9 round magazine that the Kel-Tec engineers should've been able to avoid. With normal operation, I don't notice these edges. But, it seems unnecessary for these edges to exist. Overall, I'm glad to have the 9 round magazine. There are just a couple of tweaks I would recommend with version 2.0 of this magazine.

Having experienced problems with other generic brand magazines was hesitant to try another one but i was proven wrong with this magazine. It fits great in my pistol and the extra capacity is great. The extra lenght gives you that extra bit for a perfect grip.I not only would recomend this magazine but i purchased 2 more.

I wish Kel Tec would have done a better job Fit of the Gap in the J Hook Part. I am still happy with the Mag. Works really well and performed as expected. Its a game changer. This is a replacement for one of the items stolen from my Locked Truck. The police said these crooks have a device to click locked doors open. I added a locked box with cable to leave items in my truck in.

Kel-Tec .380 Magazine The magazine is stamped "Made in Italy" and ".380" I have not had any problems with this particular firearm so far and recommend as with any firearm to use diligence, safety, and care, in the use and maintenance of any item, part(s) associated with firearms'. Carefully review and devote some time to reading and understanding the reasons for the recommended type(s) of ammunition for this weapon and understand how the feeding (loading) of ammunition from the Kel-Tec magazine into the barrel works. My preference when buying accessories is to purchase those items manufactured by the original manufacturer (Kel-Tec) of the firearm. The magazine discussed in this review gives the holder of the firearm more gripping ability.
