I was looking for a subwoofer that I could add in line to my Bose system in my 2015 GMC Sierra Crew cab. I tried out a JL Audio TW3 and this Kicker. I was blown away by the difference. This fits nicely under the rear seat and pairs well with my LC2i line out converter and JBL500 amplifier.

For how small the enclosure is, this unit sounds pretty darn good. As the CompR sub is a shallow mount speaker it is very stiff so, it needs a little extra time to break in compared to a more normal style sub before you can really crank it up. The box is well made and claimed dimensions are spot on. Not as a down side but to keep in mind, the speaker face protrudes out past the dimensions of the enclosure face by about an inch. If the space you are installing this in is super tight like mine, you would do well to get the factory grilles from Kicker. Just know that the grilles will protrude an extra 1 1/8" past the sub. All in all, if you only have a very limited amount of space to work with, this series from Kicker are an excellent choice.

I liked my first one so much, I added a second one. I was able to fit both under the cargo area of my SUV. I still have 100% of my storage capacity and a lot of bass thanks to Kicker, the reflex / passive radiator plays low, loud, and zero port noise. Stealth install means that there's nothing to see but plenty to hear. I fully recommend this setup, the CompRTs sound amazing.
