I like all of the (Friday the 13th) movies and (Jason X) is not a bad movie!!! 4/5 Stars! Watch it!!!! Vote "YES" if you found this Review was helpful!
With this 9th sequel in the Friday the 13th franchise, it is obviously not a good film at all, but I knew that before I went into the transaction. The only reason why I purchased it is because this is still part of the Friday the 13th series. The same thing could really be said about the Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises as well. Both of them have a few bad installments, but that still does not stop the fans and others from buying the movies. A lot of people do this regardless because they are part of a collection and so forth, etc. As with Jason X, there actually was potential for it to be a great horror movie because it had an intriquing concept, but once again the filmmakers royally screwed up yet another time, no surprise there, and this ended up being one of the worst Friday the 13th flicks in the series. Parts V, VII, and Jason Goes To Hell are all slightly worse than this one, but none of these movies are actually supposed to be taken seriously. These types of flicks are guilty-pleasures and their entertainment value is decent. There are far worse movies out there. That is for sure.Read full review
