It fits the better than the more expensive ones. The tacks must be used. One drawback when exterior door is closed the magnets will stick to a steel door. It isn't real convenient for going in and out a lot, but the only alternative is letting the bugs in.

Two years ago I bought two of these instant door bug screens, and they were great! One on the front door, the other on the garage side door. They were easy to put up and worked great, lasted up until a foster dog tore them up. Anyway... this season I purchased two more, expecting the same quality, and instead they were "off," like loopsided/crooked, making it hard to match up the magnets. And I have had four magnets just FALL OFF, I had to superglue them back on, they door close right, I hate these new ones!

Purchased this item to replace my previous worn out version. My only complaint is that the width is same size as the door. Therefore if you plan on mounting it on the frame as it should be done the sides will be too short and u might as well att two inches of material and stitch it on the sides in order for it to reach. As temporarily seen on photos I just added velcro strips to hold it in place. It defeats the purpose to prevent bugs from entering since the sides are open. See pics.

Very easy to install. Great value!! My cats learned quickly how to use it, so it saves me a lot of hassle opening the screen for the cats.
