This is the latest book by J.D. Robb (who is actually Nora Roberts). I now have every book in the J.D. Robb series and love every one of them. It is best to start at the beginning of them to keep up with all the characters in the books. Dallas and Rourke are amazing characters and were just made for each other. I just can't say how much I enjoy the series, except to maybe say that I'm now half way through reading them over again and enjoying them even more. This last book was as good as the others, and I can't wait for a new one to come out. Of course I love all the Nora Roberts books too. If you like mysteries where you really are not sure until the end who the criminal is, a great love match with Dallas and Rourke, great interacting with all the characters, and stories that just plain keep you interested and make it hard to put the book down, then you need to start reading J. D. Robb books.Read full review
FLAP SAYS: WHEN A MURDER DISRUPTS THE IRISH VACATION SHE IS TAKING WITH HER HUSBAND, roarke, eve realizesz that no place is safe not an irish wood or the streets of the manic city she calls home. but nothing prepares her for what she disovers upon her return to the cop shop in nyc. a driver for a top of the line limousine service is found dead shot through the neck with a cross bow. the car was booked by an executive at a venerable security company whose identity had been stolen. days later, a stunning high priced escort is found killed at coney island a bayonet stuck in her heart. again, the trail leads to a ceo whose information has been hijacked. i'm biased i love eve and roarke,,,,,,,,,,,, and i would have liked a little more........ but it was cute in the beginning, eve struggling with ireland farm life. you can tell she is more comfortable in nyc. the ireland thing was like a short story, it had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the book, it's the whole gang on hand for this murder mystery. it did feel a little rushed. and i would have liked the ending to be a couple of more chapters. and the party..... i am wondering if that's how the next book starts........... oh and i don't know what i was expecting when i read the coming attractions for this book, because when it said eve was entering roarke's world i was thinking she would have to go to parties and dinners and infiltrate the upper crust. but none of that happened. but i'm an eve and roarke fan so i loved it.Read full review

I started reading J.D. Robb to change up my reading and it worked. Her books draw you in. The story of Eve and her now husband Roarke. Two lost souls brought together by murder but find themselves in a relationship that neither wanted. They both end up needing each other in more ways than one. The books are filled with murder and steamy love scenes. Love the series and cannot wait to read the next two. Happy reading....
If you have followed the exploits of JD Robb's (aka Nora Roberts) mid-21st Century detective, Eve Dallas and her billionaire hubby and assortment of oddball but so fun sidekicks from the beginning - as I have, then this book is just one of many you HAVE to read. I have them all from the first to the last and am always hoping that she'll offer me a guest-writing gig on a story! That would be so frosted! Love this book!
