I purchased this charger before I knew what to look for to tell the actual SkyRC chargers from very similar non-SkyRC chargers. It was an attractive value. It perfectly copies all of the features which are present in the SkyRC chargers, and has been used to charge multiple sets of batteries with an optional charging board and cables. It is worth noting the mating connector which joins other connectors to the banana plug is a Molex style connector and not the "T" shaped Deans connector, so you will need to purchase an additional cable (Banana to Male Deans) if you wish to use it with an optional balance board for charging multiple batteries at once. The display is well illuminated and easily read under a variety of lighting conditions, and the buttons all worked as expected. The menu system performs like the similar SkyRC model chargers. I normally charge at 4 Amps, and have had no problems with the charger running hot. I have only tested it to about 33 watts of load, and not the full 50 watts they are rated for. I have only tested it with LiPo batteries, so I cannot speak to how well it works with other battery types. The balance option for charging works really well, and does a great job of leveling the charge across each cell. I get 4.19 to 4.20 volts measured across each LiPo cell after charging. I am very happy with this purchase. The first picture below is with an optional charging board, optional XT60 to EC2 cables (from board to batteries), and optional banana to Deans connector (from charger to board). Picture shows it charging 4 batteries which are 2 cell (2S) LiPo batteries rated at 2700mAh each. The second photo is of a 3 cell (3S) battery being charged directly without the optional charging board, via the JST adapter (included) and the balance connector. Where the word "optional" is used, it means purchased at an extra cost through another seller.Read full review

Lookup how to calibrate voltage on these (hold two buttons on power up) and see how far off your charger is. Mine was + 0.1 V off at 8.4 volts (reads 8.3V when it was really 8.4V). You can adjust the calibration on the charger but only +/- 0.05V. I just switched it to LiIo (3.6V per cell) and slightly under charge my LiPos (90% capacity but much better life cycle) With all that said can’t beat it for the price, not even close! Just make sure you calibrate and do not charge over 3.7 V per cell (measured by a volt meter)
