The Supaboy SFC has a good build quality and is an improvement over its predecessors. The system is the equivalent to a Sega Nomad, but plays SNES games instead of Genesis games and more reliable and practical than the Nomad. The console has excellent cartridge compatibility works well Super Everdrive and cartridges with the Super FX or DSD chip. It supports PAL and NTSC cartridges and is not region locked. Not many clones support both PAL and NTSC which is nice. Sadly this does not support Retrobit's Genesis or NES cartridge adapter for the SNES or SFC.The buttons are bit smaller than normal SFC buttons, d-pad is pretty nice. It has a nice screen a bit small 4:3 mode, but it scratches really easy. This does not have a HDMI port, which can be a double edged sword. On one end if this only supported a HDMI output it will not be able to play light gun games that are designed to work on CRTs only. On the other end, if upscaled properly to HD, you can have a better picture on your modern tv with the console. My point to people who complain about this system having only a analog output instead of HDMI, that analog composite port is a just as equally important of a feature to have if you want to be able to play all the games in the SNES or SFC library. I hope Hyperkin keeps the A/V port and adds HDMI for the next revision of the Supaboy.Read full review

The graphics are not good on HD tv these machines were made to play best on the old analog tv's. HD connection, 7"screen, and better sound would have been best if the company was not so cheap making them. Overall good product that could have been much better.

In high school I had the Sega Nomad and could play Genesis games on the go (until the batteries ran out). Always wanted the same with SNES. Gameboy Advance was great but had to buy all new carts. Supaboy scratches the nostalgia itch and lets me fulfill my SNES on the go dreams. Works great!

The supa is really bad to the bone...The graphics are comparable to the classic snes. The 2 controllers and being t.v. compatible are by far the best features. Extremely portable.... Its a lil bulky and dpad dont seem as good as classis controller.... Very wearth the cash needs a few improvements but still very good product

Would definitely recommend if you want to play snes on the go, even super mario rpg works which older models had trouble with. Even plays super gameboy so you can play classic pokemon games on the go!
