This Husqvarna Viking Huskylock S25 is a great machine. I purchased it for my own personal sewing projects. It is easy to thread, easy to change over to coverstitch and back and easy to change from one stitch to another. The machine sews beautifully when you get it set properly. The Touch Screen and Sewing Advisor are a great help in getting the machine set up properly for the stitch and fabric you are working with. You can also tweek the settings to your preference and save them for later use. The large sewing table included gives you ample space for handling your large sewing projects. Most of all this machine makes your sewing look professional. You are proud of your projects when they are completed. I have a HV 936 Serger and I like them equally. The 936 does have one advantage which is the free arm for cuffs and pants legs. The Instruction Book and CD included with the S25 are a big help also.Read full review
I am enjoying sewing with my Husqvarna Viking Huskylock s25 Sewing Machine Serger! It runs like a dream and makes quick work out of any project while maintaining a professionally sewn image. The treading is not the easiest task, but once you get the hang of it its fine.

This machine is a quiet understatement to Swedish engineering. It's your all around basic, no nonsense, easy to use machine. It made the perfect gift for a beginer sewer. The 300 series mechanicals are durable sewing from leather, upholstery to fine fabrics of silk and synthetics. It makes a great hobby machine or even reliable enough to be used in commercial alteration applications. Never second guess what this machine can do for it will surprise you.

The Husqvarna has been a horrible experience from the start - so much so that I have decided to invest in another brand as the time spent dealing with the problems I have had far outweighs any pleasure/practical gain. When I purchased the product new the case was out of alignment - perhaps it had taken a knock-so I took it back to the dealer. They just snapped the case back together - said that this sometimes happens and sent me away with the same machine. The tensioning frequently requires attention.I get it corrected at the dealer and this lasts for about 2 m of overlocking. It does not deal with knit fabrics. It does not like any needles except Inspira - which I cannot get in Australia. Hours and hours of frustration.
