The fan provides excellent light for my kitchen, as well as a cool breeze in a hot kitchen. However, it was advertised as coming with a free remote and there was not a remote with it. When it was being installed, the electrician said it did not even have the sensor required for a remote so I am puzzled as to why a free remote was advertised. Other than that, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Remote and controller would not work. Requested frugalfaironline send me a second controller and remote. Again frugalfaironline did and it now works. I bought 2 of these fans. Neither remote worked and one light fixture does not work. This has created a real problem as my electrician wants to be paid a second time to come make these repairs. I'll never buy anything refurbished again. Company did replace the parts that don't work.
