I have a Tamiya Super Blackfoot that I have upgraded extensively. It's also running a brushless system. My son kept breaking steering horns. I bought this one. It seems like it's gonna work out great! Much stronger that the plastic ones available, of course.

Doesn't self centre very well, spring is weak and the plastic adapters are very brittle mine broke the first time I removed it to put on another servo now it's unusable. Not recommended just get the plastic kimbrough ones they work much better.

These are really nice servo savers. However they do not fit the shafts of the stock Traxxas servos in either my new Rustler VXL nor my 2WD Slash. In addition, even if it did fit the Rustler servo, there isn't enough room between the lower body and upper frames for it to fit. SO now I have $20 in servo savers that I cant use.

Built really nice, works great. Useful that it has so many mounting points, but I will say if you are using Axial AR60 axles, you'll have to mount it crooked and use one of the side holes, because the steering arm will rub. For any vertically mounted servos it should be just fine.

As can be seen in the photos this servo has numerous options for the steering link and is adaptable to different splines. I purchased it for a electric Traxxas Rustler but it does not fit. It's too large and hits the upper front deck. so I'm saving it for my Slash.
