What an awesome product and it works great! My old unit was the same but the face plate stopped working when trying to change the batteries and after losing one of the buttons... I just swapped the face plates et voila, my house is cool again! It's also an excellent value comparing the same item I found at my local home improvement store, I also found it at another website for $60.00.
