Think first. The instructions are moronic, however it will work. I had to buy to longer bolts to accommodate the added bracket that hold the backrest. It's called quick release which I thought may me have stolen from the bike, so I epoxied the bracket and backrest together so it could not be just pulled of.. One sentence..... A whole lot better than buying a new seat. and I find the backrest very necessary.

WHY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT?....When I received my backrest $89.00 +. I was disappointed that it had no instructions!!! If you are good at fixing things then, you can make the backrest work on your bike. IS IT A GOOD VALUE? NO!!!.... To much money $89.00+ for so little product !! Once you slid the backrest into the bracket mounted under the seat, it was to far back and, of no use!!! I had to completely redesign the backrest bracket IS IT OF GOOD QUALITY?.... Yes & NO!.....Strong 1/8" flat bar (Lowe's) / 1/2" plywood (Lowe's) $5.00 / Foam rubber& Covering (Wal-Mart) $12.00

I am happy with it but being removeable it is fairly wobbly mounted on my bike. But once you lean against it you much happier. Glad I bought it. But next time I may be a sturier mounted style.

Well made item, but it does not fit as described. In fact I'm still working on a solution to getting it mounted in a manner that would actually be useful. Now, since I've had to modify some of the parts, it's not returnable.
