Easy to use, welds about anything even if you have to use more than one pass. Light enough to take anywhere you need it. Wish the power cable was longer. Need to replace the spool of .30 flux core with the .35 wire for gas because you are going to use gas. It makes a better weld and doesn't have the splatter of the flux wire.

From the one afternoon that I've had to use my Hobart 190, I was amazed at the amount of penetration. Just doing some scrap welding and I welded an input shaft to a clutch pressure plate. The welder literally melted away the input shaft tip, infusing it to the pressure plate and created an unbelievable weld. Even while using .030" wire. Mine came pre-wired for flux core welding. I'm also glad to see that it accepts 10# spools and the whole wire feed assembly is metal, not plastic like many welders out there. Only time will really tell if it is of good quality. If I'm asked to review it in 2 years, I will be happy to.

There are no cons to this welder. It is an amazing welder. I have used Lincoln's,Miller's,&obviously Hobart's, & this welder takes the cake. It has 7 heat ranges,so you can fine tune your settings to weld anything from 1/16" body panels to 3/8" fabrication. Doesn't get any better than this.
